excess of 110 units. More recently in Q4 2021 to ensure the
realization of this growth, Palo Alto-based HGGC Capital, founded
by Hall of Fame quarterback Steve Young, acquired a majority stake
in GFP, investing alongside Monogram Capital and management. While
our accounting team has been extremely efficient, expanding our
team is necessary to keep ourselves efficient and ahead of further
growth. This role oversees and implements the daily accounting
activities, driving accurate and timely dissemination of financial
management reporting. This role will focus on maintaining reporting
accuracy as we continue our rapid organic and acquisition-led
growth while driving process improvements and best practices across
our growing team. This is a newly created role, supporting our
expanded footprint of Planet Fitness clubs in NJ, PA, FL, CA and
VA. This role will report to our Corporate Controller and will be
located in our Toms River, NJ office. Key
ResponsibilitiesPreparation, review and verification of internal
and external monthly financial reports, establishing and
maintaining financial controls and following GAAP
principlesSupports annual external audits, M&A due diligence
and special projectsReview and Verify Annual State Property
TaxesPartners with internal departments to develop their annual
budgets and ongoing monthly forecastsOversees AP function,
including invoicing, disbursements, purchase orders and tax
complianceRecognize and grow process improvements to streamline
reporting and improve team efficiencyTest, validate and produce Ad
Hoc financial reports which are 100% error freeGuide the accounting
team to arrange that all deadlines are metDevelop an assortment of
policies, technical accounting analyses, and proceduresManages
Staff Accountant and AP clerical roles, assessing team member
performance and aiding in their career development
plansRequirements:Requirements:CPA required, Masters
PreferredMinimal of 5 years experienceMonth-End Closing experience
with multi-entity organization.Solid understanding of GAAP and
applicable regulationsStrong analytical and problem-solving
skillsHighly skilled in math, accounting and financial
