LearnWell is currently looking for an organized and energetic teacher's assistant to fill a part time role within our behavioral health facility in Freehold, NJ. The teacher's assistant will work in a unique fast-paced behavioral health facility center; which involves working with adolescent students in a small classroom setting and supporting them academically with common core subjects while they are receiving treatment. The teacher's assistant will play a very important role of keeping organization among students, their schoolwork, and helping to lead small group instruction. Essential functions of the job may include but are not limited to the following: Reaching out to parents and other stakeholders via phone and email Keeping attendance and inputting session report data Assist the teacher with any lesson prep for the day Assist the teacher with any printing, copying, scanning, or returning of student curriculum Run small groups under the supervision of the certified teacher Position entails a 20-hour a week commitment, 4 hours a day, Monday through Friday from 9:15am-1:15pm.
