use). For nearly 25 years, we have provided on-site instructional
services within the hospital setting, helping students to continue
their academic progress during treatment and successfully reenter
the classroom. LearnWell has a network of 180 dedicated educators
that commit themselves daily to embracing our mission and
positively impacting generations to come. LearnWell is currently
looking for an organized and energetic teacher's assistant to fill
a part time role within our behavioral health facility in Freehold,
NJ. The teacher's assistant will work in a unique fast-paced
behavioral health facility center; which involves working with
adolescent students in a small classroom setting and supporting
them academically with common core subjects while they are
receiving treatment. The teacher's assistant will play a very
important role of keeping organization among students, their
schoolwork, and helping to lead small group instruction. Essential
functions of the job may include but are not limited to the
following: Reaching out to parents and other stakeholders via phone
and email Keeping attendance and inputting session report data
Assist the teacher with any lesson prep for the day Assist the
teacher with any printing, copying, scanning, or returning of
student curriculum Run small groups under the supervision of the
certified teacher Position entails a 20-hour a week commitment, 4
hours a day, Monday through Friday from 9:15am-1:15pm. Position
follows the NJ calendar and includes summers off. We offer a very

Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working
relationships with others Excellent verbal and written
communication skills Strong organizational skills Teaching
Certification preferred but not required Teaching and/or tutoring
experience preferred but not required Understanding of subject
