ResponsibilitiesThe Education/Employment Specialist:Provides educational and employment services and support to youth and family members within the household. Also supports the family with case management and resource support as needed. The EES enhances service delivery and aims to improve case and service outcomes.Specific Responsibilities include:

• Deliver home-based or community-based education and employment services to families, visiting at least twice a month to address needs, reduce risks, and promote overall family health and wellness.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues, community providers, and external stakeholders to connect families to resources and support effective treatment planning.
• Engage primary caregivers and key participants throughout treatment to meet educational and employment goals, addressing barriers to ensure successful achievement.
• Continuously assess family safety, manage crises, complete safety plans, and incident reports promptly to ensure safety and well-being, with a focus on reducing system involvement.
• Participate in group and individual supervision, trainings, staff meetings, and community outreach to foster professional growth, team cohesion, and community engagement.Salary Range: $52,530 - $59,830 per yearThe New York Foundling values diversity and is committed to creating an inclusive, equitable, and welcoming environment for all employees, honoring diverse experiences and perspectives.
