ELECTRICAL ENGINEER BBS Architects, Landscape Architects &

are seeking Electrical Engineers in our Patchogue, NY office, with
a minimum of 3-5 years of experience to participate in and be
responsible for the design, production, and planning aspects for
projects of varying types, complexities, scopes and budgets.
Previous public-sector experience is preferred. Candidates should
be dedicated self-starters able to work independently when
necessary and also have experience working on teams with other
professionals, including senior and project level architects and
engineers, project managers, and technical designers. He or she
should also have a dedication to the profession with a strong,
self-motivated desire to learn and progress. DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES: Supports the project team with providing
technical expertise and sound solutions Assess, understand and
design systems, i.e. building power, lighting, low-voltage systems
and photovoltaic projects Efficiently and effectively deliver a set
of documents for construction Capable of working with other
disciplines Meets deadlines as necessary to ensure highest level of
client satisfaction Continue to grow our respected, long-term
client relationships and BBS team relationships SKILLS AND
EXPERIENCE: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or
Electronics Engineering Technology Minimum 3-5 years of Electrical
Engineering experience in an office environment. Understands and
contributes to the process and workflow of an A/E project design
team, works within established cost budgets and timelines.
Excellent verbal, written and visual communication skills.
Self-driven desire to learn and grow professionally, ability to
multi-task and to meet multiple simultaneous deadlines, and
presentations. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, or other
presentation/editing software packages. Revit experience a plus.
