The Director of Inpatient Social Services oversees the daily operations of inpatient social services for the three inpatient units and provides direct clinical supervision to inpatient social work staff. Responsible for the planning, direction, coordination and implementation of all aspects of inpatient social services. All methods of practice shall conform to written hospital policies and procedures and be carried out to the highest achievable level of competence in a manner demonstration concern and consideration for both internal and external customers.Requirements*Graduate from an accredited school of Social Work. Masters Degree in Social Work required. *Current NJ Social Work licensure as LCSW required. Certification to provide supervision hours preferred. *Three (3) years behavioral health experience with minimum one (1) year management experience preferred. *Successful completion of all system/ facility required orientation and annual education and competency programs. Additional Information:The Barnabas Health Behavioral Health Center (with Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus Behavioral Health Services) constitutes a freestanding 100-bed acute care psychiatric facility which provides inpatient and intensive outpatient programs for adults and older adults diagnosed with psychiatric and dual disorders.
