DIGITAL MEDIA MANAGER - MONMOUTH COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC INFORMATION-- The Monmouth County Department of Public Information is an exciting office that is responsible for relaying information regarding County news and services to residents, visitors and business owners in Monmouth County. This is done through various communication sources including the County website, social media channels, press releases, photographs and videos.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Under supervision of the Department Deputy Director, manage digital media team, including County photographer, videographer and social media coordinator
  • Coordinate all official County photography and videography
  • Oversee all social media accounts and County websiteREQUIREMENTS:-- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in communications or related field--Two years management experience of a digital media team--Demonstrated knowledge of video production, social media and photography experience--Demonstrated knowledge of Adobe Cloud Creative programs (Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.).--Excellent oral and written communication skills--Strong attention to detail--Understanding of AP style of writing--Must be able to work evenings and weekends as neededNOTE:To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential function as well as possess the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required for the position.
