Agency Claims Manager
Looking for a highly motivated self-starter with a proven track record of -Claims Management -excellence -to build out the Agency Claims Management -function at Capstone Insurance. The -Agency Claims Manager -will -support the Capstone Insurance by -proactively -managing -claims -in order to -assure the best possible outcome for our customers. -The ideal candidate will have Claims Management -experience and will have knowledge of commonly used industry best practices, -concepts, -and procedures. Work requires critical thinking skills and the ability to navigate and respond to ever changing -business and -customer needs.
Responsibilities:
Be a claims advocate for clients; take claim calls, -assist clients -with claims submission -to carriers, aid with claims service issues and -obtain / provide -claim -status updates
Form relationships with carriers and TPAs, working -closely with -adjusters and other claims personnel -on claims handling, ensuring proper and efficient claims resolution
Analyze -and -interpret -claims information from loss runs and other sources, -drawing accurate conclusions with minimal guidelines
Prepare analytic reports for Capstone Management and others using claims data
Review and analyze -coverage/policies -to ensure -proper coverage in anticipation of a -loss
See claims issues through to resolution, -while effectively communicating with client and internal team members on the status of the claims
Establishing and building out the -Capstone's agency -claims -management process

Claims Trending & Analysis:
Monitor trending -of -claims activity; communicate with -Agency -personnel on -coverage issues or pending carrier issues
Proactively identify insureds claims that require action and escalation and develop plans to address in partnership with the insureds and carriers
Identify claim patterns and develop materials that can be sent out to our insureds such as mailers, email communications, tips and tricks, etc.
Analyze and report on -claims-related data such as loss statistics, key trends, cost reduction opportunities -in order to -assist -with management of -client's total cost of risk

Claims Expertise:
Be a -"claims go to" -in the -agency and the -marketplace
Focus on sharing claims knowledge and the impact of claims -in a risk management environment
Provide coverage and claims strategy advice to clients and internal -Agency -members
Educate team members and clients through training and education on claims, handling of claims and claims case studies

Requirements:
Multi-line -claims experience -is ideal
Supervisory experience preferred
Experience working in an agency or brokerage environment is a plus
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
Computer proficiency with system of records, web-based tools, and Microsoft (Outlook, -Excel -and Word)
Ability to establish priorities in a fast-paced work environment and to -organize time efficiently to -meet or exceed -deadlines
