Why this role matters

A critical member of Vonage's marketing team, the Marketing Operations & Analytics Manager is responsible for marketing analytics and reporting. In this role, you will analyze marketing data to help marketing teams understand the effectiveness of overall marketing and individual campaigns, and will deliver insights/actions for improvement. You will focus on systems, standards, and processes used to analyze and report on marketing performance and business KPIs. You will implement standard reporting to measure the productivity and effectiveness of programs. As a collaborator with a proven ability to work effectively and earn trust in a fast-paced, high-pressure entrepreneurial environment, you'll work closely with cross-functional marketing teams, BI/analytics, and finance teams.

What you'll do

* Design, help build, and maintain automated reporting, dashboards, and analyses to enable our team to leverage marketing reports and insights.
* Own the process of managing the operations that govern all marketing data and how it is captured for reporting. This includes dashboards; and optimizing analytics for each stage of the marketing funnel, to deliver clear views of marketing metrics by segment and channel
* Ensure proper attribution for marketing leads (first touch) and work to reallocate lead source as needed.
* Define and manage marketing analytics that will measure all aspects of the marketing lead generation engine - e.g. full funnel view, campaign effectiveness, SLAs with sales and sales operations, overall business performance, database hygiene, and more
* Organize and guide key marketing stakeholders to forecast campaign performance in accordance with budget in order to accurately forecast marketing's ARR contribution to the performance and inform Marketing's funnel, pipeline and ARR targets
* Partner with stakeholder groups across marketing and sales to share insights and data.
* Create training (in-person/on-demand) and documentation materials to enable the usage of reports.
* Analyze program results, lead to opportunity & deal conversion rates, cost per acquisition, ROI, and make best practice recommendations

What you'll bring

* An in-depth reporting and data background to unlock insights of marketing performance across programs, strategies, and datasets
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Demonstrated success using first touch, last touch and/or linear attribution models to understand user behavior, lower acquisition costs, improve goal conversion, and optimize marketing performance across a variety of outbound and inbound programs
* Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to thrive in fast-paced environments managing multiple initiatives
* Scripting Skills: Strong skillset in SQL querying languages preferred but not required

What's required for application

* Experience using BI and data visualization tools (Such as: Tableau, Fivetran, ELT, Salesforce, Pardot, Adobe Analytic )
* Expert proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
* Experience with leading analytics, reporting, testing
