Job Description:

*Community Options, Inc.* is a national non-profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 11 states.We are Now Hiring an experienced *Program Manager* in *Ocean, NJ* who will be responsible for the supervision and oversight of our Direct Support Professionals and our Regional Programs.The Program Manager leads a team to provide person-centered care tailored to meet the needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will support your team with day-to-day operations and challenges to achieve our programmatic goals.*Work Locations: * Forked River, Smithville, NJ*Responsibilities: ** Lead and train your team to support programmatic initiatives, goals, daily routines, and the unique needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities* Provide training on daily routines including cleaning, cooking established meal plans, feeding, medication administration, and maintaining personal hygiene* Manage team performance through effective communication, training, performance management, staff meetings, and employee recognition* Develop and implement activity programs including the Meaningful Day curriculum* Communicate with the families and guardians of individuals we support as needed* Develop and update Individual Support Plans (ISP)/Person-Centered Plans (PCP) with an interdisciplinary team to include any concerns, observations, and behavioral developments* Ensure individuals are supported per their ISP/PCP including medication management, meal planning, and behavior management* Ensure program documentation and billable records are completed accurately and timely* Assist with monitoring the finances of individuals ensuring purchases are approved and accounted for with documentation* Monitor the health and medical needs of individuals and immediately report any concerns* Manage relationships with the families and guardians of the individuals in our care* Ensure work locations and vehicles are clean, well maintained, and stocked with necessary supplies including groceries, medications, and cleaning supplies*Minimum Requirements: ** High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's Degree Preferred* Complete all state and agency required training per state guidelines* Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record* Experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities* Knowledge of state regulatory agency operations and standards relevant to supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities* Team oriented with demonstrated leadership experience*Why Community Options?** Competitive Insurance Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision)* Paid Holidays-Including a Birthday Holiday* Generous PTO* Employee Incentive & Discount Programs* 403b Retirement Plan* Incredible career growth opportunities* Exceptional Career Growth Opportunities* Employee Incentive & Discount Programs* Insurance Options (Medical, Vision, Dental)If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact the friendly staff at our Somerset office! *(908) 231-6762*Community Options is an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/D/V_#IND-OC_Job Type: Full-timeSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Monday to FridayWork Location: One location
