- Position will serve as the local administrator and responsible
for the application and user setup of Computerized Maintenance
Management System (CMMS) / Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)
software & Work Management software applications, work planning,
work order, and part / inventory functionality of the software.
This position is primarily responsible for the implementation
support, training, maintenance, functional improvements, day to day
operation, mobile workforce, system integrations and reporting for
Veolia's various software packages (INFOR, Kloudgin, Clevest, etc)
that will handle our asset management and work order management
systems. In addition, the position is responsible for understanding
and supporting the implementation of inter and intradepartmental
workflows and configuration and routinely monitoring data transfer
from and to the aforementioned and other core business systems and
databases (ESRI GIS, CCB, Snowflake, etc).Primary Duties /
Responsibilities
- Local asset management EAMS administration to support end-users
of the application in areas such as: reviewing and auditing user
access, develops training materials, training end-users, delivering
reports in support of business operations, maintaining online
system documentation, researching and correcting moderately complex
system errors and tracking system issues and resolutions
- In collaboration with Area Supervisors, develop and manage
daily and weekly job plans.
- Creates new asset, location, people, labor, job plan, and
preventive maintenance records
- Analyzes business processes and user needs to prepares and
distributes routine and develop custom reports such as preventative
maintenance vs. reactive maintenance, performance statistics and
planning tools. .
- Performs and coordinates user interface and data quality
assurance and assists users (Production Maintenance, T&D,
Engineering, and Meter Technicians) with CMMS issues
- Supports the implementation of new information technology
systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and an
understanding of applicable business systems and industry
requirements
- Working with management to identify opportunities to automate/
improve processes and functions
- Partners with technology/management staff and vendors as needed
in software development, configuration and/or upgrade/enhancement
efforts
- Quality Data Assurance to ensure the data collection, entry,
and validation of asset data into CMMS, including data corrections,
updates and validation.
- Ensure and verify required data complies with contract
specifications and internal company policies and procedures.
- Responsible for analyzing field activity data and ensuring the
accuracy of the asset record in the maintenance management
system.QualificationsEducation / Experience / Background
- Bachelor's Degree in a Business Management / Engineering or a
related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of
education, technical certifications or training, or work
experience.
- 5+ years in asset / workforce management or associated software
and technology.
- Prior experience with Enterprise Asset Management systems or
Data and Asset tracking Management experience (utility
preferred)
- Experience in integrating existing, new or newly acquired
system assets into a Company portfolio is highly desired.Knowledge
/ Skills / Abilities
- Ability to Understanding of existing Asset Management
Systems
- Understanding of database structure of Enterprise Asset
Management Systems (EAMS) configuration or administration
experience.
- Experienced in providing data driven reporting and
understanding various database schema
- Knowledge of integrating business applications utilizing
middleware.
- Experience / knowledge with SQL, Python, and R, and ETL
methodologies and practices supporting data integration and
reporting
- Experience / knowledge with API Integration to support
seamless, automate business processes, and enhance the sharing and
embedding of data between various company applications and systems
(ESRI GIS, CCB, EAM, SAP, PeopleSoft, Etc).
- EAM Application System configuration management experience is
required
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral to deal
effectively with all levels of staff, management, vendors and
customers with proven interpersonal and problem-solving
abilities
- Familiarity with business, regulatory compliance and related
safety practices
- Ability to work on several projects and issues simultaneously
and meet firm deadlines
- Positive attitude and personality with comfort in change
management
- Ability to express himself/herself orally and in writing
