Job SummaryNetApp is seeking a Technical Hardware and Sustainability Product Manager to join our product management team. The ideal candidate has experience managing hardware designs within large enterprise companies and collaborates effectively with global R&D teams. Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Management, this role involves working closely with Product leadership, Engineering, Procurement, Sustainability, and Support teams to develop compelling product strategies in a rapidly growing segment of NetApp's portfolio.Additionally, we are looking for a strategic Sustainability Product Manager to lead our ESG initiatives. Responsibilities include developing sustainability strategies, reducing environmental impact, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. NetApp's GHG reduction targets are validated by SBTi. • Gather and evaluate product/market requirements through research and customer engagement.
• Collaborate with R&D to translate market requirements into innovative technologies.
• Define product vision, strategy, and lifecycle plans.
• Provide market insights through analytics and research.
• Translate system and sustainability requirements into business language.
• Gain knowledge of global sustainability strategies and provide insights to corporate leaders.
• Develop and execute programs to reduce carbon footprint, waste, and resource use.
• Understand hardware components' influence on power consumption and sustainability metrics reporting.
• Monitor and report sustainability metrics, ensuring industry and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to integrate sustainable practices.
• Assess environmental impacts across operations and supply chains.
• Engage stakeholders on sustainability policies and practices.
• Stay updated on sustainability trends, regulations, and innovations.
• Build partnerships with external organizations to advance sustainability initiatives.Job RequirementsTechnical & Industry Skills:

• At least 3 years in product management, with hardware experience.
• Knowledge of server, networking, and storage technologies relevant to data centers.
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery architectures.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and geographies.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Knowledge of sustainability frameworks, ESG reporting, and carbon accounting.
• Basic understanding of sustainable supply chains and renewable energy strategies.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Tableau, Salesforce, Jira.
  • Knowledge of storage provisioning and hardware components like CPUs, GPUs, SSDs.
  • Educational background in Computer Science or related fields; MBA preferred.
  • Familiarity with environmental regulations and certifications such as ISO 14001, LEED, GRI.
  • 3+ years in sustainability management or CSR roles.Travel: 15-25% travel required.EducationCompensation ranges from $127,500 to $189,200, depending on location, experience, and qualifications.
