Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager / Director to lead the end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-agency technology and infrastructure initiatives with a strong emphasis on Public Safety and 911 system integration. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in emergency response systems and proven success managing large-scale projects within the NYC government environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee the successful execution of multifaceted infrastructure projects involving multiple government agencies, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, timelines, and budgetary requirements.

Utilize deep knowledge of emergency response frameworks, including CAD (Computer-Aided Dispatch), PSAPs (Public Safety Answering Points), and 911 operations, to drive technology integration and recommend operational enhancements.

Establish and maintain strong collaborative relationships with NYC government stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and facilitating effective communication across all project phases.

Direct and coordinate cross-functional teams comprising internal agency staff, external vendors, and contractors, optimizing resource utilization, mitigating risks, and proactively addressing project challenges.

Develop and deliver detailed project plans, comprehensive status reports, and executive-level presentations, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making for all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.



Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience managing large-scale infrastructure or technology programs within NYC government or equivalent public sector environments.

In-depth understanding of 911 system operations, emergency response technologies, and public safety communication protocols.

Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of building and motivating diverse teams to achieve project goals.

Exceptional stakeholder management abilities with experience navigating complex regulatory frameworks.

Excellent communication and presentation skills tailored to both technical and executive audiences.
