Family Practice/Primary Care opening in Brick, New Jersey. Urgent care Physician Assistant Brick NJ Must have experience Rapidly expanding urgent care facility is looking for qualified PA to our Urgent Care team. The ideal candidate is comfortable seeing patients of all age groups, is able to multi-task and works well under pressure. Our center is UCAOA Accredited, open 365 days/year and offer X-Ray, EKG and point of care lab testing on site. JOB DESCRIPTION

• Ensure proper diagnosis, treatment, and management of minor illnesses and injuries
• Evaluation and treatment of the occupational medicine patient
• Assessment and treatment of the pediatric patient with minor illnesses
• Follow basic clinical care standards and practice evidence-based medicine
• Orthopedic injury management
• Complete chart documentation using an EMR
• Prescribe medications
• Consult with the physician on call in the event of complex medical cases and when patients may need referral to a specialist or the emergency department Requirements
  • Certified Physician Assistant.
  • Licensed to practice in NJ
  • 1-year experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, primary care or pediatrics mandatory
  • EKG and X-ray reading ability
  • Suturing, splinting, I&D and other procedural skills
  • Comfortable with the evaluation and management of all age groups
  • Excellent bedside manner, customer satisfaction skills and solid clinical judgment
