The Barnegat Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Seeks Admissions AssistantSkilled Nursing Home is seeking to hire a dynamic, energetic and exceptional Admissions Assistant for our long-term care, skilled nursing facility.The primary purpose of your position is to assist in admitting patients/residents in an efficient manner, in accordance with established policies and procedures, and as directed the Directors of the organization.You will assist the Admission Director work to build relationships with area case managers, physicians, social workers, community organizations and hospitals to increase census and highlight the quality of care and services provided, including on-site short and long-term rehabilitation in our skilled nursing facility. You will assist in organizing and hosting successful marketing events that clearly benefited the healthcare facility in a measurable way. You will work with patients, residents, guardians, and/or sponsors to verify insurance and obtain required admission information and signatures.The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, skilled communicator and positive motivator. Must be able to organize and prioritize many tasks effectively, have the ability to utilize both local and company resources in the execution of job responsibilities.The successful candidate should have a minimum of one (1) year experience in Healthcare / Admissions in a long-term care facility setting.
