Job Description:

Ophthalmic Ambulatory Surgery Center seeking an energetic and friendly employee for medical receptionist/patient registration. Candidates should be detail oriented, professional, thorough, take pride in their work but most of all compassionate to our patients. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Customer service skills a must. Candidates must have computer knowledge.Candidate must be flexible and available for both am and pm shifts for 32 hours weeklyMedical Receptionist Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet patients and other visitors when they arrive
• Answer patient questions and provide assistance when necessary
• Have patients sign all necessary forms and check them over to ensure accuracy
• Collect co-pays/deductible/coinsurance as dictated by Billing
• Field phone callsMedical Receptionist Requirements and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Good organizational and time management skills'
