Well-Born Nursery Physician Hackensack, NJHackensack Meridian Health is seeking a full time Board Certified Pediatric Hospitalist to provide coverage and direction in the Well-Born Nursery at Hackensack University Medical Center/The Joseph M. Sanzari Children's Hospital (JMSCH) located in Hackensack, New Jersey, a desirable northeastern New Jersey location with easy access to New York City.The successful candidate will lead a group of part-time physicians in coverage for the Well-Born Nursery. You will mentor pediatric residents and medical students, provide didactic and clinical teaching of trainees and engage in scholarly work based on interests in, but not limited to, clinical research, quality improvement and community outreach. There are ample opportunities to teach both in the clinical and academic settings with the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine. Well-Born Nursery Details:Supports an active OB/GYN program with approximately 6,500 deliveries per yearApproximately 3,200 admissions to the Pediatric Hospitalist service per year3 permanent per diem physicians provide coverageSupported by Level III NICU with 24/7 coverage by NeonatologistsExtensive Pediatric Subspecialty services immediately availableActive Pediatric Residency with 24 residents NICU FellowshipThe JMSCH is ranked by USNWR as the #1 Children's Hospital in New Jersey and is ranked in the top 50 children's hospitals nationally in Pediatric Neurology and Neurosurgery and Hematology/Oncology.
