Our hospital recently joined with Atlantic Health Systems, and in doing so created a new opportunity for expansion of our Anesthesia services. We are seeking a BC/BE Anesthesiologist, who wants to be the newest member of our family, for a full-time opportunity at CentraState Medical Center. As a community hospital, our procedures are mostly bread-and-butter, such as: General Surgery, Orthopedics, Bariatrics, Spine, Plastics, Urology, low volume Obstetrics, and extremely-rare healthy pediatrics. We are NOT a trauma center and rarely deal with any high-risk OB issues. Over the many years, CentraState has spent considerable effort to foster a strong and friendly culture within the perioperative department. We maintain a very close relationship with our hospital administration, and more importantly, our friendly surgeons. We perform lots of regional blocks as part of ERAS/Joint Protocols so there is plenty of opportunity to show off your skill set. If you don t have strong regional training, your new colleagues will be more than happy to teach/guide you until you feel comfortable, especially with our state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment.COMPENSATION: 425K/YR AND SIGN-ON BONUS OF 50K/2 yrs. Possible extra compensation if extra shifts are available Your income stretches further in Monmouth County than areas further north due to more reasonable home prices and lower taxes. 6 weeks vacation (with bookend weekends, so usually 10 days off straight) $2500 CME annually which can be used for CME, laptops, tablets, or even cellphone bills!
