Registered Nurse (RN) | Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Location: Brick, NJ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,528 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 17 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified NICU RN in Brick, New Jersey, 08724! Job Title: Special Care Nursery Mother Baby RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Mother Baby Duration: 17 weeks Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 3 years of Mother Baby experience required License: NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license Certifications: BLS must be AHA, NRP Must-Have: - BSN - NCC certification Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. The nurse plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient needs. Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Develops, implements, and coordinates an individualized plan of care for assigned patients through initial and ongoing assessments. Initiates assessments based on the patient’s problems or needs, the physician’s medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework. Performs therapeutic nursing interventions. Manages the care of patients. Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities. Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery. Provides patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend.
