(PICU) Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours
(19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 2 Years of PICU Experience
License: Current NJ State or Compact License Required
Certifications: BLS, PALS Required Must-Have: - COVID-19
Vaccination Series and Booster Required - Ability to Pass Basic
Arrhythmia Exam Description: Proof of COVID-19 vaccinations and
booster required upon submission. Looking for candidates with
strong PICU experience and a flexible attitude. Teamwork and the
ability to train or mentor newer nurses are essential. Floating to
NICU may be required with training provided. Will also float to
labor and delivery as helping hands only. Candidate must be willing
to work assigned weekends. No PCAs on unit; total care
responsibility is required. Candidates will be caring for COVID-19
patients on this unit. Patient ratio for PICU is 1:2 and for
pediatrics is 1:3-4. Self-scheduling is permitted with final
approval from the manager. Candidates must have experience with
CPAP, Vapo, and high flow. The unit includes 4 PICU beds and 8
convertible beds, which can be for monitored or pediatric patients.
Daily patient diagnoses include GI and respiratory issues, with
lower acuity in the PICU. Requirements Required for Onboarding
