This position requires a compassionate professional who is prepared to administer radiation treatments, collaborate on treatment plans, and offer patient support in alignment with oncological standards. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of radiation therapy technology and safety protocols, ensuring a high level of care in our state-of-the-art facilities. Administer radiation therapy as prescribed by a radiologist Monitor and observe patient reactions to treatment and adjust when necessary Ensure all safety protocols are followed to protect patient and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure Collaborate with radiologists and other health care team members to develop treatment plans Maintain detailed records of treatment sessions Assist in tumor localization and dosage calculations Strong understanding of radiation therapy principles and machinery Ability to work collaboratively in a health care team Empathy and strong communication skills for interacting with patients Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping abilities Knowledge of safety protocols concerning radiological procedures Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified and registered as a Radiation Therapist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) State license as required
