Job Description:
At Headway, we are dedicated to pioneering progress in mental
health services by bridging the gap between patients and mental
health professionals. We are seeking a Licensed Mental Health
Technician (LMHT) who shares our passion for making mental health
care accessible through insurance. The ideal candidate will assist
mental health professionals in providing direct care to patients,
supporting therapeutic environments, and helping patients with
daily activities. Assist in the delivery of primary mental health
care and patient interventions under the guidance of mental health
professionals. Help with the implementation of patient treatment
plans. Record patient behavior and provide feedback to the
treatment team. Support mental health professionals during therapy
sessions. Manage and organize medical and administrative supplies.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
Facilitate group therapy sessions and recreational activities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work
collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. Proficient in
documenting and maintaining patient records. Skilled in crisis
intervention techniques. Comprehensive understanding of mental
health conditions and treatment modalities. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Certification as a
Licensed Mental Health Technician or equivalent.
