Job Description:
TeamHealth has an exciting, full-time opportunity for an
emergency physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join the
emergency department (ED) team at East Orange General Hospital in
East Orange, New Jersey. Our team treats 34,000 patients annually
in this 20-bed ED. Physician assistants and nurse practitioners
enjoy flexible scheduling with no overnight shifts. Prior emergency
medicine experience as an advanced practice clinician is
required. East Orange General Hospital (EOGH) has served the Newark area
for more than a century. The hospital offers service across the
care continuum and is well-awarded for clinical excellence and
patient safety. In 2018, the hospital was awarded the Patient
Safety Excellence Award from Healthgrades, making it one of 458
hospitals nationally recognized for excellence in patient safety.
The distinction places EOGH among the top 10% of all short-term
acute-care hospitals reporting patient safety data to
