**Lead Housekeeper**Regular Full-Time **Location:****Job Category:**Applewood **Primary Shift:**Day **Work Schedule:**7:30-3:30 **Share This Job:****Overview****Responsibilities** Under the direction of the Manager, assists with planning and directs the day to day operations of the Housekeeping department. * Responsible for training Environmental Services employees in their duties, responsibilities, and proper techniques. * Works within the department to operationalize the departments service goals and objectives. Performs general cleaning and laundry duties as required. * Performs patient room cleaning and discharge cleaning including dusting, sanitizing, wiping, and scrubbing beds, walls, furniture, and fixtures * Replenishes soap, paper towels, toilet paper and other supplies as needed * Keeps housekeeping carts stocked * Performs general cleaning duties (sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitizing) and related services in-patient and non-patient areas **Qualifications**Education: * High School graduate or equivalency preferred. Work Experience: * Previous work experience preferred.
