Our client, a growing construction business, is currently hiring a Recruiter to join their organization. The ideal person for this role will have at least 2 years of experience in hiring/recruiting, onboarding, and/or HR. Job Position: Recruiter/ Hiring Specialist Job Type: PermanentHourly Rate: $25-27/hourJob Responsibilities:--- Using tools and recruiting resources to post new ads and screen call candidates who meet open position qualifications--- Qualify potential candidates through questionnaires developed with operations based on characteristic traits and experience required for the open position--- Schedule secondary interviews with operation management team once candidates have been pre-qualified--- Manage all onboarding aspects of new hires--- Review completed onboarding paperwork to ensure everything is properly filled out and signed--- Create and oversee training schedule with operations for new employees. This schedule should be created prior to that start of new hire.--- Send out new hire welcome emails so existing employees are informed about new employees starting with the company as well as getting to know the new employee regarding their background and what they will be doing for the company.--- Liaison between operations and new hire throughout training process to include daily check-ins and first hand introductions to operations team members.--- Complete and manage all exit interviews with both employees and/or management team depending if separation was voluntarily or administered by management team.--- Track and data pool reasons for termination along with voluntary exits from organization to help--- Identify areas of weakness within organization to help increase retention rates--- Manage all employee files throughout organization--- Develop and manage employee recognition motivators such as employee of the month award, internal recognition emails, discretionary bonuses approved by upper management as well as work anniversaries and birthdays.--- Create and distribute monthly newsletter for all employees to help keep all employees engaged with internal progress as well as informed of internal changes.--- Establishment of new roles and management of Organization Chart along with reporting structure.
Job Requirements:--- 2-3 Years of Hiring and HR experience--- Ability to be self-sufficient in creation of reports and documents--- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple responsibilities at the same time--- Strong personal management skills, dedication and organization required
