Job Description:

Must have Tamarac software experience to apply! The VP, Operations primary role will be to support the build out for the firm's national wealth management technology platform. The VP-opts will in addition, collaborate with the investment team in the design, management, and rebalancing of allocation models. The individual will work with the operations team on daily trade reconciliation. They will lead advisor onboarding and transition to the trading and rebalancing platform.

Responsibilities: The VP at the firm's Ops is their in-house Tamarac software expert who is responsible for all trading and rebalancing for their wealth management firm. They will be working closely with the advisement team to help with portfolio and other misc. tasks.

• Serves as a business analyst and project manager for the build-out of the company's technology platform
• Implement and maintain client reporting, risk analysis, portfolio rebalancing, and trading systems.
• Lead advisor onboarding and technology transition process
• Responsible for ongoing training for financial advisors to ensure they are getting the most leverage out of our trading and rebalancing capabilities
• Create and implement data reconciliation processes where data is standardized across all technology systems
• Partner with other functions including Investments, Operations, Compliance and Finance to build business intelligence reporting
• Provide regular status reports to management and key stakeholders
• Must be able to travel 6-10 times per year for team meetings and for onboarding a new team in-house
  Skills & Qualifications:
  
  • BA/BS degree with 5-7 years of operations and technology in the wealth management / RIA space, preferably focused on trading and rebalancing
  • MUST have Tamarac experience
  • Must be able to travel 6-10 times a year for team meetings and onboarding a new team in-house Tamarac experts.
  • Required 2+ years' experience with and RIA or family office
  • working with advisement team to help with portfolios and other misc. technology platforms
  • (EQ) skilled in data and in the marketplace: Must have the ability to understand, use, and manage your own emotions in positive ways to relieve stress, communicate effectively, empathize with others, overcome challenges, and defuse conflict
  • Must have implementation expertise
  • Highly experienced working with rebalancing systems such as AdvisorPeak, Blaze Portfolio, RedBlack, Tamarac Trading, Orion Eclipse, etc.
