Technology (IT) organization is the technological foundation of our
business and works in collaboration with our partners from across
the company. The team drives technology and digital transformation
and partners with business leaders to design and execute new
strategies across the company. They also ensure the necessary IT
risk management and security measures are in place and aligned with
enterprise architecture standards and principles. About the Role:
As a key member of the Corporate Service team, the VP/Technology
Lead of Corp. Services will be responsible for end-to-end IT
delivery (Design, Build, Transform, Run) and domain architecture
focusing on Compliance, Credit/Market Risk and Real Estate
corporate functions consisting of 50 key application platforms: The
candidate will lead the technology organization directly aligned to
these business areas including external service providers, provide
indirect technical leadership across the Corporate Services IT
organization, and collaborate across IT, Ops and business leaders
to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of the
technology infrastructure and systems, Responsibilities: Lead a
focused team of Corebridge employees and IT vendor resources and
relationships to drive the following: 1. Application Lifecycle
Management Oversee the entire lifecycle of assigned applications,
including deployment, maintenance, and retirement for 50
applications, Own the IT operating model focusing on developing a
cohesive domain architecture, build and service delivery model, and
driving optimization and modernization. Lead the review of
technical designs to ensure alignment to domain architecture and
standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Architecture,
Infrastructure, Security and Line of business IT teams) to ensure
alignment with business goals and technical requirements. Monitor
application performance and implement optimizations to enhance
scalability, security, and user experience. Lead and evolve an
offshore third-party support application and maintenance team for
end-to-end support of applications in the portfolio. Develop and
execute program and project-based business cases, financial plans
and project plans and deliver expected results on time and on
budget. Deliver portfolio and project-based reporting demonstrating
adherence to SLA’s, project plans and ongoing BAU deliverables. 2.
Stakeholder Management Act as the primary liaison between business
units and technical teams to translate business needs into
functional requirements. Become a trusted IT partner demonstrating
the ability to influence change and IT decisions Proactively
highlight and lead resolution of risks and issues and clearly
communicate those risks to stakeholders. Manage Vendor
Relationships & Contract oversight while leveraging their strategic
capabilities. 3. Governance & Compliance Ensure applications comply
with organizational policies, industry standards (e.g., NYDFS,
GDPR, ISO), and cybersecurity protocols. Conduct / coordinate risk
assessments and implement timely mitigation strategies for
vulnerabilities. 4. Technology Infrastructure & Operations Manage
technology budgets across direct and indirect expenses, inclusive
of oversight of key vendor software and hardware relationships and
partnerships. Accountable for tracking and managing finances across
the designated IT portfolio. Prioritize resource allocation for
upgrades, patches, and new features. Ensure Operational excellence
is upheld, including all security, regulatory and compliance
aspects; production systems uptime and reliability; and
availability of data that are critical to the functioning of the
corporate systems eco-system. 5. Technology Innovation, Development
and Improvement. Drive innovation in technology solutions to
improve operational efficiency, reduce risk, and rationalize the
portfolio of technology Lead the development and implementation of
new capabilities, including internally built and externally sourced
software applications and AI/ML solutions. Analyze user feedback
and metrics (e.g., uptime, error rates) to drive iterative
improvements. Stay updated on emerging technologies (e.g., AI/ML,
cloud-native solutions) to recommend innovative opportunities. 6.
Strategic Leadership & Management Develop and lead outsourced
Vendor Program activities for assigned business areas Develop and
prioritize annual Book of Work and alignment of the future state
roadmap Develop IT roadmaps working with Senior Business
Stakeholders across the business units with immediate focus on
Compliance that aligns with Corbridge’s business and technology
plans. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment
across the Corporate Systems organization both with other teams
across Enterprise IT, and across the broader Corebridge Technology
teams Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
work experience preferred. 10 years’ experience as a senior IT
leader for Compliance and Risk Management working in the financial
services industry, insurance company preferred. Strong domain
knowledge of Compliance and Risk Management core business
processes, operational needs, regulatory landscape and supporting
technology ecosystem. 5 years' experience working with offshore
service providers and 3rd party vendors. 5 years' experience
working with C-level executives and senior Business leaders Strong
leadership, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
Ability to absorb complex context and convert it into relevant
information for given audience. Proven ability to manage budgets,
projects, and resources effectively Excellent organizational, time
management, resource planning and prioritization skills Strong
attention to detail and problem-solving skills, while driving big
picture goals Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment,
concurrently managing multiple initiatives, while managing key
priorities. Compensation: The anticipated salary range for this
position is $190,000 to $215,000 at the commencement of employment.
Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary
range. The actual compensation offered will ultimately be dependent
on multiple factors, which may include the candidate’s geographic
location, skills, experience and other qualifications. In addition,
the position is eligible for a discretionary bonus in accordance
with the terms of the applicable incentive plan. Corebridge also

position is based in Corebridge Financial’s Jersey City, NJ office
and is subject to our hybrid working policy, which gives colleagues
