corporate law platform is seeking an experienced Mergers and
Acquisitions Partner to join its transactional practice. This role
is designed for a senior attorney who enjoys leading complex deals,
building trusted client relationships, and contributing to the
long-term growth of a collaborative firm. The position offers
meaningful autonomy, direct client engagement, and the opportunity
to help shape both team development and strategic direction within
a middle-market focused environment. Mergers and Acquisitions
Partner Overview: The M&A Partner will serve as a lead advisor
on a wide range of domestic and cross-border transactions, working
closely with founders, management teams, investors, and sponsors.
This individual will balance hands-on deal execution with
leadership responsibilities, including mentoring attorneys and
supporting business development initiatives. Mergers and
Acquisitions Partner Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage mergers,
acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and strategic
investment transactions Act as primary relationship partner for
clients across the middle market and emerging growth space Oversee
all phases of transactions, including structuring, negotiation, due
diligence, documentation, and closing Provide strategic,
business-oriented legal advice tailored to client objectives Build,
mentor, and manage deal teams, fostering professional growth and
accountability Collaborate with partners across complementary
practice areas to deliver integrated legal solutions Participate in
client development efforts, including origination, cross-practice
collaboration, and relationship expansion Contribute to firm
leadership through involvement in strategic planning, talent
development, and client service initiatives Mergers and
Acquisitions Partner Qualifications and Experience: Juris Doctor
from an accredited law school Admission to practice in at least one
U.S. jurisdiction Ten or more years of transactional experience
with significant focus on M&A matters Demonstrated experience
advising middle-market companies, founders, investors, and private
equity backed organizations Proven ability to lead complex
transactions and supervise attorneys Established or developing
portable book of business preferred but not required Strong
negotiation, drafting, and client-facing skills Entrepreneurial
mindset with a collaborative, client-first approach
