Interstate Waste Services, a leader in non-hazardous waste management in the U.S Northeast, is seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager of Site Operations to oversee daily operations at our facilities. This role involves managing site operations including waste collection, transfer, recycling, and disposal. The successful candidate will contribute to optimizing operational processes to enhance efficiency and environmental compliance, while ensuring safety protocols and company standards are consistently met. Oversee daily site operations and coordinate activities of site personnel to ensure operational efficiency. Implement and monitor processes for waste collection, sorting, recycling, and disposal to maximize productivity and compliance with environmental regulations. Train and supervise site employees, ensuring adherence to safety standards and operational protocols. Conduct regular inspections and audits of equipment and facilities to identify and resolve issues. Manage inventory and procurement of site supplies and equipment. Prepare and submit regular reports on site operations, performance metrics, and compliance status to senior management. Collaborate with other departments to implement waste management initiatives and projects. Address and resolve any issues or complaints related to site operations swiftly and effectively. Strong leadership and team management skills In-depth knowledge of waste management operations and environmental regulations Proficiency in operational logistics and resource management Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to implement process improvement techniques Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Certified Waste Management Professional (CWMP) OSHA Safety Certification
