Job Description:
Clean Harbors is seeking a skilled and dedicated Senior Sales
Route Driver with a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) to enhance
our Transportation and Logistics team. The role involves managing
and operating waste disposal routes with a focus on safety,
customer service, and environmental compliance. The successful
candidate will be responsible for driving heavy trucks and
equipment, optimizing route efficiencies, and ensuring the safe and
compliant handling and transportation of hazardous and
non-hazardous waste materials. This position plays a critical role
in supporting Clean Harbor’s mission to protect the environment
through responsible waste management solutions. Operate heavy
trucks and equipment for the transportation of hazardous and
non-hazardous waste materials. Ensure compliance with environmental
laws and regulations related to waste disposal. Manage and optimize
assigned disposal routes to enhance efficiency and customer
service. Conduct regular vehicle inspections and maintenance to
ensure operational safety. Build and maintain positive
relationships with customers, addressing and resolving inquiries
and complaints promptly. Record and report sales and delivery
information accurately to management. Participate in ongoing
training and safety meetings to enhance job performance and
environmental safety. Strong driving skills with a clean driving
record Ability to manage and operate heavy transportation equipment
Knowledge of hazardous materials handling and transportation
regulations Adept at route planning and optimization Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills Basic mechanical skills for
vehicle maintenance Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Commercial Driver’s License
(CDL) with Hazmat Endorsement DOT medical certification Experience
with emergency response operations preferred
