Responsibilities A day in the life of a Food Service Associate at Hackensack Meridian Health includes: + Compliance with the diet prescription and obtaining preferences within that diet. + Can be responsible for any of the following: prepare/assembly of meals, assist with dishwashing and utility work, and/or handling register. + Ability to juggle tasks and meet deadlines is a must. + No less than exceptional customer service is expected. A day in the life of an Environmental Service Aide at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:+ Clean and disinfect patients rooms, bathrooms, furniture and other areas of the facility in a timely manner.+ Delivering linen and removing trash from assigned areas.+ Sweeping and mopping patients rooms.+ Maintain adequate stock of materials, supplies and chemicals on cleaning cart and in janitors closet.+ Daily floor care procedure is performed consistently.+ Equipment is kept clean and polished carts, tanks and buckets are emptied and rinsed at shift end.Other duties as assigned which are according to hospital policies & procedures. Qualifications+ High School Diploma or GED strongly preferred. + Good communication and Customer Service skills required + Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time. + Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
