Job DescriptionCustomer Account Representative Location: Toms River, NJ Pay-rate: $18.00/hour Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Contract-to-permanent opportunity!Customer Account Representative Job Responsibilities:

• Answer customer calls and assist in placement of orders via fax and email
• Resolve customer complaints, problems and inquiries via phone and email in a courteous and efficient manner
• Maintain a positive relationship with customers by responding to inquiries with a sense of urgency having a positive attitude and maintaining effective communication
• Open new accounts while keeping existing account information current in a computerized system
• Process documentation which includes orders, change order requests and expedites
• Assist customers in selecting the correct part to use in their applicationCustomer Account Representative Job Requirements:
  • High School Diploma and 3+ years experience
  • Previous experience with processing orders / order entry is ideal
  • Must have excellent listening and communication skills and be well organized
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
  • Must have excellent communication/telephone skills and attendance
