Yankees Baseball Camps Facilities Coordinator (New Jersey): 2023-2901New York Yankees Summer Camps is five days of baseball instruction and competition within our custom-built curriculum for children ages 5-13. We are looking for a Facilities Coordinator, as part of our on-site leadership team, to ensure seamless day-to-day operations of camp and oversee the camp equipment and inventory management processes. We provide the training, baseball curriculum & daily camp schedules along with all equipment for a successful camp but need you to bring camp to life with your enthusiasm, organization, and dedication.

• Own the day-to-day operational set-up and break-down of all equipment, water coolers, tables, signage, etc. to ensure a safe and functional camp.
• Maintain order of the equipment storage trailer and regularly inventory and organize supplies, equipment, technology, and camp uniforms
• Anticipate and respond to material requests and issues during the camp day to minimize interruptions to camper experience, communicating with the Site Leader for any additional needs
• Work alongside the Site Leader to ensure all on-site protocols, procedures and curriculum are being implemented effectively and consistently
• Represent the Yankees professionally and respectfully throughout all facets of your day to campers, parents, site and facility partners and any guests you encounter while on the clock and in uniform
• Be a loyal, dedicated and responsible team member who consistently shows up on time and ready to work for the campers and the rest of your team
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by the camps Site Leader
• Experience playing and/or coaching baseball and/or softball (2 years preferred)
• Experience working with children in a camp, school or sport setting (2 years preferred)
• Passionate about baseball and making a positive impact on the lives of children, families, and coaches
• Committed to the camp mission, the rest of your team and the campers
• Dedicated and a willing to learn
• CPR/First Aid Certified, or able to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification prior to the start of camp.
• Possess basic Excel knowledge and a desire to own inventory management on-site.
• Able to receive orders at a personal address for stock replenishment and willingness to transport these packages to the camp site
• Able to remain upright and standing for multiple hours at a time, to walk and/or run quickly around large outdoor grass and dirt-covered fields, and ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. of sports equipment
• Work in baseball, being active and outdoors all summer in Northern New Jersey

• Camp Dates & Locations: June 19th - August 21st, no camp the week of July 3rd

• Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:15 am-3:45 pm
• Compensation: $18 / hour with up to 2.5 hours of overtime expected per week paid at $27/hour
