Patient Access Representative (Part Time Evening)

Job Description:

The Patient Access Representative will accurately and promptly collect all pertinent information at the initial point of registration to ensure the proper billing process occurs which will enhance timely cash flow and reduce the days in accounts receivable. Interviews all patients in an attempt to obtain demographic and financial information.

Position is sixteen (16) hours per week, evening shift, following a period of orientation and training on days.

QUALIFICATIONS

* High School Diploma or equivalent required.

*Knowledge of Medical terminology/Medical insurances preferred.

*Two years in registration and CPAR certification preferred.
