As an Inventory Associate with Community, you will:
Assist in daily truck audits on clinical and technical staff.
Be available and respond to all department inquires regarding
Assist in immediate receiving of all new or repair products to the
Toms River distribution center.
Handle and diffuse inventory issues in a professional polite
Perform some functions of inventory manager as needed.
Perform inventory projects to achieve specific team and department
If needed, answer and/or research all incoming patient, physician
and referral inquiries.
Stay current on industry, product and regulation updates.
Assist, disseminate and relay policy and procedure changes to team
Participate in intradepartmental and interdepartmental meetings, as
Keep management apprised of inventory issues.
Perform various duties as assigned by inventory management.
Be available for 4 quarterly inventories a year.
Keep purchasing apprised of any inventory shortages.
Perform serial number and product allocations to open work orders
for multiple sites.
Assist in warehouse / distribution needs.
Assist in ventilator preventative maintenance tracking program.
Input replenishment product orders for external sites.
Assist in all transfers in and out of the Toms River location.
Perform all follow up on capital equipment transfer issues.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Homecare or surgical/medical supply warehouse experience preferred.
Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication and
organizational skills. Mathematic skills. Computer literate -
Microsoft Office. Must possess good people skills and work
